While you parade around China propagandizing for the CCP about how free everyone is there, how about some of these OVER 100 REPORTERS IMPRISONED by the Chinese government? Start with these below.

You are "free" to preach the CCP Gospel while others languish and die in Chinese prisons for reporting the truth to power.

YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE AND YOU KNOW IT. You can use Western social media while others are put in jail in China for doing so.

YOUR DOUBLE STANDARDS ARE CLEARLY SHOWING AND YOUR IMMORALITY OF PROMOTING THE COERCIVE CHINESE GOVERNMENT WILL BE CONTINUE TO BE EXPOSED.

CHINA: AFTER SIX YEARS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY, HUMAN RIGHTS LAWYER FINALLY SENTENCED Amnesty International, Oct 25, 2023

Responding to reports of a six-and-a-half-year sentence handed down today to Chinese human rights lawyer Li Yuhan on charges of “picking quarrels and provoking troubles” and fraud, Amnesty International’s Deputy Regional Director for China Sarah Brooks said:

“Li Yuhan is one of many human rights lawyers in China who have paid a huge price for their work defending individuals unjustly accused of wrongdoing. She should be released immediately and unconditionally, and the multiple allegations of her ill-treatment in detention independently investigated.

“Lawyer Li has been arbitrarily detained for six years now as part of the authorities’ relentless suppression of activists, legal advocates or anyone who peacefully stands up for human rights in China. She should be at home with her family, not in prison for merely doing her job to defend peoples’ human rights.

CHINA: HEAVY PRISON SENTENCES FOR HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS ‘DISGRACEFUL’ Amnesty International, April 10, 2023

Responding to the lengthy prison sentences handed to Chinese legal scholar Xu Zhiyong and human rights lawyer Ding Jiaxi, Amnesty International’s China Researcher Alkan Akad said:

“The disgraceful sentencing of prominent Chinese human rights defenders Xu Zhiyong and Ding Jiaxi is a blatant violation of their rights to freedom of expression and assembly. They should be released immediately and unconditionally.

“No one should be jailed simply for attending a peaceful meeting. Having faced torture and other ill-treatment during years of arbitrary detention, Xu Zhiyong and Ding Jiaxi now face more than a decade behind bars after rigged and secretive trials.

CHINA: #METOO JOURNALIST AND LABOUR ACTIVIST FACING ‘SUBVERSION’ CHARGE MUST BE RELEASED Amnesty International

Responding to Chinese #MeToo activist Sophia Huang Xueqin and labour activist Wang Jianbing being officially detained under the charge of “inciting subversion of state power”, Amnesty International’s China Campaigner Gwen Lee said:

“The Chinese government’s disdain for human rights has once again been laid bare by these unjustifiable charges for two activists whose only so-called crime has been to peacefully advocate for the welfare of others."

Gwen Lee, China Campaigner Amnesty International

“Journalist Huang Xueqin has been targeted by the authorities after helping women in China report cases of sexual harassment and becoming a key figure in the country’s #MeToo movement.

“As well as shining a light on the dire treatment of victims of sexual violence, her arrest also exemplifies the Chinese authorities’ hostility towards journalists who dare to report the truth."

Hey Jeff, a friend of mine heard that the "Peoples Republic of China" folks are slowly killing off many members of the Chinese Communist Party. I'm sorry to say he thinks it's a good thing. I highly doubt it is, of course. I imagine it's a scary notion to you and I'm sorry to even bring it up, but do you know anything about this? John Potash
