Truly great information however not allowing any land ownership sets up future generations to be exploited by leases. All governments end up corrupt at some point. Why can't they have both the strict oversight of the looters and money changers but still allow for honest people to own a stake in the world they were given that removes such centralised power? There's a better way but I respect their aggressive rejection of global exploiters that the west just let run amok.

Good comments.

Remember that the 70-year Chinese leases are fungible. You can buy and sell them when you want.

Furthermore, laws were passed so that after 70 years, if the lease is renewed to the same person/family, it is priced at only 2/3 of the market price at that time.
