Thanks for these insights. As a literary device foreshadowing is essential. A screenwriter who places a gun above the fireplace must arrange to have that gun fired before the end of the movie. We have lots of foreshadowing of events and are accustomed to it being used to manufacture our consent. We have become to limited hangouts where only part of a story is revealed - hiding the larger real story. Our consent continues to be manufactured according to these guidelines by the military industrial complex which owns us and the planet.
